You want to show a custom calendar of events with some ability to control how it looks. You also may want your own members/visitors to post events directly to your site without requiring them to go through Timeshout. Ex: community calendars, chambers of commerce, etc..
You are an event venue or a business that wants to let people register for events online. Ex: clubs, tour companies, etc..
You have multiple locations for your business or want to have both the ability to accept events from your members as well as let them book/register online for events of interest. Ex: health clubs with ongoing classes and multiple locations, etc..
A site is a way to show your calendar of events in a more branded manner. You get a custom URL that you can use to point your visitors directly to your own event calendar.
By default, a custom site shows one event calendar. This tool increases the amount of calendars that can be presented on the site. This is very useful for business with multiple locations that desire one site with the capability to select from multiple calendars (ex: a yoga studio could show a class schedule for each location they might have).
This tool allows visitors to register for an event. While we don't handle payment on our site for paying events we do have a pretty flexible system that will redirect users desiring to register to a payment page on your site.
When an event is sponsored, you'll see a small link at the bottom of the event description pointing back to your site. This is a fantastic way to promote yourself in your community. The more events you add, the more exposure you get!
If you are using either a custom site or are embedding our calendar in your own site using the API, then this feature will let your visitors add their own events as if they were you. This is a great tool for sites that need to accept events from their own members such as chambers of commerce.
While this tool is not yet available we wanted to let you know about it. In the near future we will make available detailed stats about how your events are reaching people, both from out own site as well as 3rd party sites displaying these events. These stats will be available in downloadable formats that you can then import in your own system.
